Polarised sunglasses made for babies and toddlers, with a soft strap that keeps them on. The frame bends instead of snapping, weighs just 11.7 grams and sits gently on little noses and ears. The strap clips into both arms and wraps around the back of the head, so they stay on through crawling, splashing and the sandy-hands stage.
Eyes need shade too
Hats slip and shade moves. These lenses are polarised and rated UV400, so they block UVA and UVB light and cut the glare that bounces off water, sand and pavement. Bright days get easier on small eyes. They pair naturally with the Little Cubs pool tent: the canopy shades their skin, and the sunglasses shade their eyes when they climb out into the sun.
The strap is the point
Most baby sunglasses are on the ground within a minute. These come with a soft, adjustable elastic strap that clips into a small hole at the tip of each arm. Snug it up behind the head for babies, let it out as they grow, or unclip it altogether for older toddlers.
Soft, bendable and light
The frame is made from a soft, flexible material that bends and springs back instead of cracking, so a squash in the nappy bag or a toddler sitting on them isn't the end. At 11.7 g they're light enough that most little ones forget they're wearing them.
Size and fit
Made for ages 0 to 3. The frame is 111 mm wide, with 46 mm lenses, a 12 mm bridge and 102 mm arms.
Colours
Pink, Blue, Black and Light Green, each with its own strap.

Care
Rinse in fresh water after the beach or pool and dry with a soft cloth. Store out of direct sun when they're not being worn.
Always supervise young children. Sunglasses work alongside shade, hats and sunscreen, not instead of them.
